New temple built right of the Pha That Luang Stupa

The Great Buddhist Stupa was built in the 16th century by Setthathirat on the ruins of an earlier 13th century Khmer temple. It was destroyed in 1828 by the Siamese invasion and later restored to its original design by the French in 1930. The architecture of the building consists of three levels, each conveying a reflection of part of the Buddhist belief.

der Farbkontrast haut einen (mich) um! Toller Blick, tolle Perspektive und Klarheit aber der Kontrast mit diesem intensivem Blau gegen dieses Kaminrot, göttlich!

Hallo Achim,
A quite sophisticated structure with good white parts to outline them and provide highlights to your photo. The big english language sign at the bottom left was not really necessary though, but this is beyond your control.

Guten Tag Achim

Wonderful colour, sharpness, contrast, & saturation. It would be interesting to know if this new temple, is modelled on plans, sketches or old photos, of the original temple burnt down by the Thais, & poorly reconstructed, by the French colonial powers. Good work!

Hello Achim, the bright colors are splendid, the light, this light intense which enters your photograph literally is strong, hot and illuminates with force the roof of large Stupa what reinforces the so white features of the pagoda, of many touches coloured brightens this sight c' is a very beautiful composition by its simplicity and cleanliness, Superb! Precise yellow ornaments on roof and facade are creates splendid view with amazing red roof texture. I like shining parts on roofs a lot too. White borders are giving attractive contrasts. Your capture is pure with excellent light and sharpness. Great one, congratulations.
