This girl was manning a little roadside stall selling cigarettes and other little things.
I wanted to play around with high contrast with this pic. I think the most attractive thing about this pic are the girls eyes, and I think that's brought out with the contrast. Opinions?

Very theatrical. It reminds me of a style that was very common in the 70s ... kind of like Andy Warhol. And you're right. Those eyes draw you into the picture. Did a workshop just for fun.

IMHO, I think the original would have been more effective. The post processing looks more like a drawing than a photo. But yes, what you've done has brought out the eyes.

I used to use high contrast film a lot, years ago. I'm glad I don't have to spend the money on it any more! This image shows a skilled use of negative space. The high contrast flattens the face some, but that doesn't detract from the very lovely expression.
