Photographer's Note
For a long time I resisted posting photos of monks because it seems it's a shortcut to evoking sentiment for southeast Asia. However, the more I look at some of my monk photos, the more I come to appreciate them and my own sentiments for southeast Asia and the beautiful, peaceful people I met there and the Buddhist culture that permeates.
In this photo I got the motion blur effect I was going for. My own personal critique is that none of the faces are discernable. I think if even one face had been discernable this would have been a much better photo. But I still like it for its impressionistic quality.

great idea and capture, todd! :-)
never thought those monks could be so fast. *g*
or maybe they´re the ghosts of the monks of the past.

a dream in yellow and orange.
good job & take care, thorsten.
