Luang Prabang is a town full of Buddhist monks so I guess taking photos of them is inevitable.
This monk was sitting quietly outdoors studying at the temple next door to where I stayed.

Great shot Ian, I just love the colour orange on these Buddhist monks, it is stunning and so vivid. The expression of total concentration of his face is well captured. Your trip looks to have been amazing. TFS

You seem to have managed to capture this studious monk without him being aware of you and your camera. Just a pity that his bench seems to be more in focus than his face. Cheers, Marlene

Hello Ian, The coloured garment worn by this Monk is the first thing you see but the look of concentration on his face does not go unnoticed. The green book gives this image a nice touch as far as colour contrast is concerned. Nice work.
