Photographer's Note

This shot was taken in the hills of Laos, near Nong Khiaw, about 4 hours from Luang Prabang. The limestone hills are quite dramatic and the boats that navigate the river are in typical fashion very narrow. I added some yellow contrast to the photo to enhance the rays of sunset that were beginning to converge and to give it a bit moodier feel.
