I got up at 5am to see the monks come out to receive sticky rice from the townsfolk in Luang Prabang. They didn't come out until 6:30(must have been sleeping in).
There were a lot of monks lining the roads as well as townsfolk out to give them food, but the atmosphere was so quiet. These monks moved so briskly and quietly they were there one moment, then gone the next, almost like ghosts.
I'm pretty stingy with the ISO on my Fuji F31fd and don't want to go above 200 so I was stuck with a pretty slow shutter speed here. At first I was disappointed that the monks were blurry but now I feel it conveys that sense of otherworldliness the monks had that morning. |

It is an interesting experiment, but if that's what you're after, next time I would try a really slow shutter and a tripod and get the full effect. (You haven't posted technical information, so I don't know what you actually did use.) Also, your lead monk should not be in the front of the pillar IMO; one side or the other.
I like the mix of strong colors. However, you should crop out that top beam, as it is burned out.
And what is so special about ISO 200? Most cameras don't start to show noise until 800 or so.
