Photographer’s Note
For those of you who have been following my postings since the beginning, you may remember my kids portraits across from Luang prabang on the other side of the mekong river... So, on my way back from the village, before taking those boats you see in the BCGD, i shot a few kids playing by the mekong river. It was late and sthe sun was already setting... in the next few days i'll try to post some more , cos' I like them a lot. hope you share the same interest.
BTW anybody could help me ith creating a new theme on doors?
thx

good daily life on people here, well done, the boy carrying the other seems very happy, but the one on top isnt.
I do like the boats int he background, it give us the real feel of the country, but it is a shame about the poverty.
Well done

Eric, this is a very cheerful portrait. I like the use of the two sticks that creates a focus area, and a wise choice of the DOF enough for us to catch the boats. Great stuff!
If you are looking for contributors for a door theme, count me in!

I love the way I'm smiling before your picture has fully loaded Eric, this one is all about feeling and technical things like composition don't matter.
Great shot.

Nice happy moment you've captured here. I really like the smiles of both of the kids, really make the shot happen for me. My only concern is with the cropped feet...I wish I could have seen them in frame, but apart from this little nit pick this is still a wonderful shot. Really well done!

Good shot Eric. The colors here are very warm and pleasing and the expressions are great. A couple people have mentioned that they would prefer the legs not be cropped, but that doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me though is that the are running out of the frame, not into it. For me, this would work better if the boys were on the left side of the frame. Hard to compose that with moving subjects I realize. Good shot Eric.

Yes I like this shot. Poverty there maybe, but it doesn't come across here, just happy kids playing.

Excellent shot, great timig and capture. The light works very well on the wet skins, very good composition, Eric.

Sure, the light was great. Golden skin is of great effect !
The front kid is in a strong node of the picture, at the perfect place to enhance, by his look, the presence of the small one.

Looks like i've missed your last few postings Eric. This one is excellent especially the warm evening light illuminating the children as they play. To be honest i find some of the background elements (pole, and rope) a little distracting, but i know there's not a lot you can do about it, and the children more than make up for it anyway. Well done
