Tom,
It's such a heart breaking image that they are so poor to be eating bat, reason is not that they like it but it out of desperation in the past and maybe even now. I'm from there and I have seen enough that this is reality. Sometimes Loa people can be so relax that they will not work too hard on their farm but rather hunt for wildlife and species and they will eat just about anything that move. A rare shot and great image of daily life. Hard for me to look at but that is life.
