We had the good fortune to be at the market in Muang Sing, in northen Laos. We were there around 8 am I think, but the sun finally made it's appearance around nine, and it did actually light up quite a few faces without actually causing much heat. So it made for some good pictures. Well the sun helped, but this market is truly a melting pot of minority groups, without being an expert, it looked like there were a dozen different ethnic dresses. This little guy, looked right at the camera from on his mother's back.

Ah...the market in Maung Sing...yes...what a place. And how about that bus depot across the street?
Well done shot Steve. I really enjoyed those folks up there...and have about 10 of those bags that the ladies make at the old market in the afternoon....I just couldn't stop buying them!
