Hi Steve, an interesting subject well taken. Position in the frame is good and the BG blurring away from her is good too. cheers, Steve

Beautiful and very interesting to see your series on Akha. The natural skin tones and blurred bamboo background is very nice.

That's a superb portrait. I love the warm light and also her face in itself, with a benevolent expression and fine features. The sharpness is excellent and we can appreciate it even at this size ( but this is an excellent idea to provide the link to the larger view). The background makes a good contrast with her silhouette, so we can give all the attention to the headgear that looks like a jewel on its own.

you have composed this picture very well with the subject so well positioned in the froeground and in such detail. her expression is very nice, very natural. great light which you have used perfectly. lovely colours. the background is a lovely tone of colour and not at all distracting of the subject.

What a terrific portrait against a simple background. Your shot boldly places the subject on the far right, and makes great use of the blurry background which resulted from the wide aperture. Nice gentle light falls on her pleasant, open face and silver beads.

Great portrait shot from the remote part of Laos that not many people set foot in.
Stunning details of her costume and traditional clothes, which they spent much time creating. Love here semi timid expression but yet very gentle quality of her charactor.

It's a pleasure to discover all these wonderful portraits of northern Laos.
This is also very well done, I like the light and the background with all these lines.
