This is a great image featuring an amazing, rugged landscape, but a note would in this case be highly appreciated. The composition is great, with the group of climbers offering a point of reference for the scale of this landscape. There was dust on the sensor. Is there still a peak honoring Lenin!? This is a bit scary, but probably not for long... Presumably the people of Kyrgyzstan has more important issues to be concerned about that the nomenclature of some remote mountains.

You really brought out the huge scale of these mountains very nicely, Dariusz. The people are dwarfed by the enormous glaciers. They are not conquering nature, they are surviving it. I think it would help your image a lot if you made the snow truly white--it looks like you aren't using the full range in your histogram. Regards, Ken.

A great capture and detail for such small people in the distance!! The mountains look treacherous and capable of an avalanche. Your point of view is excellent. Thanks for sharing

Hello Dariusz
Man is small compared to the mountain. They seem to be walking along a recently walked track but the slopes in the background look as though they are about to break into avalanches. An interesting composition Tfs, Marlene
