The photoportrait of Askar Akayev the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan (and actually the first one but officially he isn't called like that anymore). Taken by me during the day of revolution.
Last year's peaceful demonstration unexpectedly (for itself) overthrew its "monarch" who had thought that it would probably be the last such crowded meeting and then he would get tough on opposition. Kyrgyzstan almost became a family corporation under his ruling.
He just run away when people got closer to the government's building...
Now he's in Moscow teaching something about physics and in the History. |
