Silkroad travel: Kyrgyzstan

That's the Silk Road near Sary Tash! These parallel sandy tracks in the Kyzyl-suu valley in East-West direction long the Trans Alay range, seen on the horizon. It's hard driving with a bicycle, better avoid the tracks and drive in the steppe! I was sick and did'nt take any pictures that day, our travel friend Herman did.

Hi Dietrich,

Congratulations for your 200th post on TE and I wish to see many more hundreds, thousands of wonderful photo from your portfolio.

The name of this place probably "Yellow Stone" in English. Dangerous roads easily recognizable as you add note. I like depth of unpaved road and huge fields before snowy mountains. Wonderful.
