Weather is always crucial for mountaineers. A friend of mine tried two different 8000-summits - and failed. In the first time, weather was o.k. but the weather report was not, and the other (Spanish) team did not share their better wx reps. On the second occasion, weather simply was too bad. This is sad, if you are nearing 60 years and won't be given a third chance.
Good photo, the sticks in the foreground make the difference.

It's amazing to see such cold weather in the summer! I like the frost-covered poles in the foreground and the rays of sun above. I hope your trek was a successful one.
