| another scan of slide from Kyrgyzstan's trip. Photo was taken from boat on Song-Kul lake, last day of August. Every summer in this region and others regions of Kyrgyzstan, shepherds move to summer pastures in the mountains (usually from 2500 to 3200 m above sea level) with their flocks of sheep, horses and cows, living in yurts. Around Song-Kul Lake mountains are 3500 – 4000 m high. But unlimited space and small different between lake level and top of mountains (ca 1000m) caused we didn’t see this. |
