And another photo from my trip to Kyrgyzstan in 2005. This is the Song-Kul Lake. The largest lake in Naryn province, lying at over 3000 meters on a treeless plateau ringed by mountains. Wonderful place with huge space around.
The quality of photos from Kyrgyzstan is not the best because this are scans of slides. |

Well, it´s a scanned pic but looks very fine!
A nice composition, Iwona! I liked it!
The horse made just a great "pose" !

Great shot, not exactly something you see everyday, and the timing is very different. Nice job.

Very nice photo! It looks as if the rider and the horse just emerged from the water. It's very clear water and blue sky. It must be very high in altitude, since there is not even a tree in the distant background.
I wonder if you can lighten up the shadow a little to see some feature in the man’s face. My suggestion for you in the future is to use a flash when taking photo of people on a sunny day. I understand, sometime you just don’t have time to prepare for all that. If you do, it will be soften the shadow. It’s still a really great photo.
congratulation!
Hi Iwona,
What an interesting, wonderful detail and sharpness. Good color and clarity too.

Tola :))
