Photographer’s Note

Kyrgyz fishermen on the Song Kul Lake (3000m). Only 5 fishermen are officially allowed to fish in this beautiful mountain lake.
Adiz and Ramiz are brothers, they work and live in a small cant on the shore. During the winter, they break the ice to fish.

les eaux de ce lac sont fabuleuses! Quelles couleurs et quelle néttété! La composition est interessante avec les deux garçons qui régardent deux points opposés dans un scénario de rêve.

you're one hell of a photographer. Combining these men with he fine landscape, the green-blue water and an interesting note to boot, this makes an interesting picture. How did you get to this I don't know, I would like to do it by bicycle. What kind of fish do they catch, are they autochthonous or introduced? Maybe you have more pictures?
