(Yet another scanned photo from an old slide)
Our hostess had just finished preparing the family lunch and had brought the dishes on the low tables in the main yurt, then was out for a few minutes and her 2 calves entered together (not their habit, they prefer grass than hot meals !), messed around, tasted a bit of the fresh bread and found it delicious, had also time to leave smelly and smockey remains of their passage on the felt carpets,

... and then when she realised all the damage done, it was too late, so she was upset and furious : "stupid animals" she said aloud, and we ate that day with a good hour delay - not tragic for us, later she too laughed about it and joked... So many other things could happen, much worse than this little incident !

2 veaux ont osé entrer dans la yourte une fois le repas servi sur les tables basses, ils se sont régalés de pain frais mais ont boudé les plats de résistance, sur quoi notre hôtesse qui était ailleurs pour quelques minutes a vu les dégâts (de +, ils avaient laissé des souvenirs fumants et parfumés de leur passage sur les tapis de feutre) et les a chassés en pestant très fort ;

ce jour-là, nous avons mangé avec une bonne heure de retard - elle ne leur en a pas voulu longtemps : tant de choses plus graves peuvent arriver !

We say "yurt" for places. For example "anayurt" means "mothersplaces". This is a good picture about Kyrgyzlife. I'm waiting for new pictures.

Hi Chaterine... You were very lucky to visit this place. I think the composition is quite good because it allow us to both to observe how people live in this part of the world, and also how the landscape looks like. The light is very good. Thanks for open us a window there. Take care.

Voilà un endroit que j'aimerais bien découvrir. Il y a peut être un peu trop de yourte, mais bon, sinon, on devine un voyage et l'imagination s'emballe...

Belle photo de cette femme qui chasse les deux veaux gentillement, belle prise de la demeure bien typique de ces endroits,les vetements sont superbes et bien pris, tout est bien pris d' ailleur. Jolies couleurs, bonne netteté qui laisse voir et admirer de superbes détails.

Wonderful photo really, and makes me wish to go there, I just love the atmsphere. I can almost get the scent of these animals. Very well (scanned and) composed, with very nice colors, and a wonderful sense of infinity. Superb.

A superb daily life scene from Kyrgyzstan, with a marvellous warm vs cold colour contrast, between the warm fg colour tones, & blue sky. Perhaps I'd add some gaussian blur to selected parts of the sky, to mask the noise further? Have a fantastic weekend! Bon travail!

Une belle prise de vue et un bon timing pour saisir la femme, au bon moment, qui sort de sa yourte afin de chasser les deux veaux [C'est un coup classique, qui arrive parfois par ici à Goa :))] Les montagnes et le ciel font un très bon arrière plan.

Ce moment de vie et d'humour de ta note se ressent bien à travers cette photo. Le démarche décidée de la femme et les deux veaux la tête basse rendent bien l'action.

Charmante image de ce pays qui nous paraît si lointain et surtout dont les traditions sont si loin des nôtres! C'est bien que tu aies eu la chance de faire ces expériences si enrichissantes.
La photo est de bonne qualité pour un scan, les couleurs agréables, et la composition bien vue au premier plan à gauche , le paysan à l'air bien déterminé et les collines bleutées en arrière-plan.

j'étais en train de lancer un coup d'oeil aux photos du Kyrgyzstan (un pays que j'aimerais visiter) et je suis tombé sur ta gallérie qui je trouve hyper-intéressante. Moi aussi je suis plutôt un accro du photo reportage par rapport au photo-art (je n'ai même pas les capacités pour cela :)).
Cette composition est pleine de vie; en plus excellent résultat pour un scanner d'une diapo!
