Picture taken at a Kyrgyz national festival, held at lake Song-Kul.

One highlight of the festival was the Kyrgyz national game, Ulak Tartysh. This ancient game is a bit like polo, but with a major difference: It's played with a dead goat carcass!

Lifting the 30+ kg goat carcass from the ground while riding a galloping horse is tricky - even without the competitor's horse breathing down your neck...

Hello Pekka,
a phantastic scene well captured, technically and esthetically "impeccable". It is full of action and excitement and there is this touch of exotism. My compliments. Keep on sending more pics to TE!
