On les appelle les cavaliers des Monts Célestes, le massif du Tian Shan, ces hommes des haut-plateaux du Kyrgyzstan qui passent leur vie à rassembler les troupeaux de chevaux, moutons, vaches et yacks pendant que leurs femmes restent près des yourtes pour carder la laine ou centrifuger le lait des vaches pour en faire yaourts et formages

They are called the horsemen of Celestial Mountains, the Tian Shan range, these men of the Kyrgyzstan high plateau, who spend their whole life at work with the herds of cows, sheep, horses and yacks, while their women stay at the yurts to card wool or centrifuge milk to make yogurts and cheese

this picture is magnificent and expresses in an accurate and most pleasing way the fascination of the natural environment and of the way of living of these people, a combination between strict discipline and absolute freedom. Ça me rappelle les films de cowboys quand j'étais où les cavaliers rassemblaient les troupeaux mais ce petit troupeau ne doit pas être dur à rassembler. Excellente prise de vue et profondeur. Une scène de grand espace avec une superbe formation de nuages.

The cavaliers, the yurt and the "overwhelming emptiness". Normally, we would be tempted to crop to show the void less, but that's the main characteristic of the steppes and it was wisely given.

One tiny suggestion cold be to apply gradual toning above, to underline the clouds more.

ces steppes du Kyrgyzstan rappellent celles de la Mongolie et la scène que tu nous offres nous transporte dans un monde bien éloigné de notre quotidien. Ce doit être un choc d'arpenter ces grands espaces. Très belle composition avec ces couleurs softs qui sont ta signature.

Quel bol d'air pur! Aucun signe de civilisation à l'horizon à part les yourtes, un paysage désert et grandiose, seulement habité par quelques horseboys!

What a sweeping view and wonderful cloud formation, you have captured a character of this very scenic pastoral landscape typical of Central Asia, and the yurd - the trademark is of vital subject as strong focal point. It is a spectacular panorama with great dof and superb lighting in soft coloring while the flocks standout in the foreground to add the contrast. The slight misty feel in the distant finishes off nicely creating a good visual effect overall. Marvelous work. TFS
