Photographer’s Note
This is one of usual buildings in the center of Semipalatinsk Nuclear Test-site. This is the place where the first soviet atomic bomb was created.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union the Test site was actually closed. Now it is only a scientific center - National Nuclear Center of Kazakhstan.
Though the town is still inhabited (my parents live there for example) many buildings look like this one.
