The Kaz SSR building in Almaty, kind of neglected now...
Not neglected in ALmaty are the many gardens & paths with gardens, trees, fountains, statues, all throughout the city.
Adjacent to the building is a fountain surrounded by creatures from the chinese zodiac.
Behind the building, an Uzbek man in a yurta sells folk paraphenalia. He actually stays there, for how long, I don't know, at least the summers...
