The return is as important in mountaineering as climbing, for the climbers are tired and pay less attention to potential danger.
On the picture my partner comes down from Sovetov peak (4300 m asl) in North Tyan-Shan. We have experienced snow blizzard and now enjoy drizzle and wet stones :-)

Very striking composition that tells a lot about the efforts required by mountaineers. That little person in red lost in this hostile field of rocks can only count on himself (and his partners, I guess) to make its way safely down. Good note too.

Beautiful composition... the patterns of grey stones seem to go to infinity, and the person in red seems so small in such a dangerous place.
