Photographer’s Note
Going through my collection of photos on TE I realized I didn't have a photo that could be trully representative of my beautiful country. I wanted a photo looking at which people would guess Kazakhstan before they read the country name. So here goes my first try... Let me know if it was successful or not.

This is amazing. You got a portrait, with perfect background. It seems you blended all of the parts together, but since you don't say it is, I guess I'm wrong. Nice combination

Hi Saule,
the composition of this photo is great: the majestic bird and the high mountains in the background. It looks like a painting ... how did you get this effect? You were lucky to get this shot, I think it wasn´t easy to get the eagle in front of the camera.

Hi saule.
Bella foto molto suggestiva ma forse un pò troppo manipolata.

Is this for real ?
What an uncredible shot. It looks almost like a stich, but I might be wrong.
But, you know what, dear?
The results are just amazing and for that alone - my two thumbs up.
Symbolic shot. Like a crest.
Have a great Sunday, Saule

Hi Saule,
Very good photo. I love these mountains. Tengri mountains, yes? They really match their name. Celestial atmosphere.
About your question if the photo represents Kazakhstan well or not, I cannot be sure. I never associated eagles with Kazakhstan. Eagles rather remind me of United States :)
I guess it is very difficult to reflect Kazakhstan in just one photo... Surely, mountains should take their place. But perhaps, horses, yurt, people etc also should...
Moreover, what distinguishes Kazakhstan from other Central Asian Turkic countries is, I think, the modern faces of oil-rich cities. Perhaps, it is also a good idea to show images that reflect the booming economy of this promising country.
As I said.. Difficult to fit all these in one frame :) You have a beautiful country.
Thanks for sharing,
Alper Ayhan

Nice try Saule,
I like the combination of a mountain view with the beautiful bird (the Guard ??). Colours and sharpness are great, Thanks for sharing.
best regards

The picture has some flaws rearding the highlights, but two points for the eagle are surely deserved.
