Photographer’s Note
In Japan there some rites of passage.753 ceremony is one of those. Around every 15 Nov., girls of 3 and 7 years, and boys of 5 years go to shrine to pray for their health growth with wearing Japanese traditional clothes(girl:kimono, boy:hakama). She is an English whose father works at Japanese company, suited with kimono very well. When I turn the lens to her, she gave unique pose as a joke.

Hello Takero,
very good photo! Good POV! Very good moment captured even though the girl was posing specially for you.
But frankly speaking, I would prefer to see a Japanese girl wearing a kimono rather than a Western-looking girl :) Maybe I am far too used to "traditional" views.
best wishes,
Elena
