Photographer’s Note
More photos from Japan.
This is just a nother photo from what I now see as the main attraction of my trip to Japan.
Himeji Castle.
As Himeji Castle is a really old castle and both a National Treasure of Japan and an UNESCO World Heritage site, it has too much history behind for me to write here.
So to make things simple, I'll just supply the link: Wikipedia on Himeji Castle.
We got to spend most of a whole day at this fantastic site, not nearly enough to fully digest the history and beauty of this place. But it was worth every yen it cost us to both get here and to get in.
And to put it short....I am going back at a later time, hopefully next year!
Now, enjoy the view!

Odd Jarle,
Majestic construction for sure. I'm sure also that you'll receive a few comments saying "too much sky" - but, to my eye, this vast expanse seems somehow fitting - beneath the infinite heavens perhaps.
Only the poor "middle of the day" lighting lets the shot down a bit.
Regards
colin
