Photographer’s Note
every fields here in Hokkaido, as soon as snow melts, we can find many new buds of butterbur, and the flower stalks of butterbur grow fast, then small flowers come to bloom like these photos.
each photo is different from other photos of stalks, but time progress of these four is, (1) left upper (2) right upper (3) left lower (4) right lower, as you see those.
"ふきのとう" is Japanese name of Japanese letters.

Dear Akihisa,
simply excellent presentation of butterburs opening to spring sun. The presented sequence is lovely, I just wonder how much time it takes to open like this. Colours of green on brown are wonderful, so the chosen frame with japanese letters. I adore them. They have such great artistic, visual beauty.
Thank you for this wonderful spring life.
Wish you a lovely Sunday,
Jeri
