Konomiya Temple, Hadaka (nude) Matsuri (festival) in Inazawa City Aichi Prefecture. The 1001 nude men festival is where men of all ages, shapes and sizes and packages wear a white thong and freeze their smooth hairless asses off in the cold February weather.

This festival also turns out to be a blood sport due to all the free sake that is drunk before, during and after the festival. Thousands of Nude men drinking sake while trampling all over each other. The free flowing alcohol is giving them some courage and telling them to do silly things.

You can see asses of all shapes, sizes and saggy-baggy-ness. This festival like most others in Aichi are a blast because they takes place in the day time mostly during the work week so they are never that crowded. Plus there are hardly any tourist in Inazawa because they are all probably in Kyoto photographing 'cough, cough' The Golden Pavillion.

I think that Aichi Prefecture has the most exciting festivals in Japan starting with Hadaka in February and ending with The Honen fertility festival in March. All the festivals are a Sake drinking-fest. The Sake is free and it flows like the there is no tomorrow. Thank god most camera have auto focus because I usually drink my self blind at these festivals.
