Photographer’s Note
Mt. Fuji can be clearly seen from Tokyo on the windy day from the end of January to the beginning of February.
The cloud generated by the northerly gale on the top of Mt. Fuji is seen floating to the left. A lot of lights light up in the windows of offices because it is a weekday.
Taken from the 25th floor of Bunkyo Civic Center, free observatory to enjoy greater views of Tokyo.
Made HDR from two pieces, Fuji-yama at 16:56 and Tokyo city view at 17:40, because I want to get a image of Mt. Fuji shining at sunset with the twinkle city lights.
Shutter speed: 1/250 sec (Fuji-yama), 5 sec (Tokyo city view)
F-stop: f/5.6 both
Using AEB, Auto Exposure Bracketing 0 -1 +1, by Self Timer putting the camera on the table.

Hello Hisashi,
Thanks for the very interesting note and for this photo which at the end looks natural even afterthe use of HDR.
The opposition between the far famous summit and the light on the buildings give the interest to the shot.
Very well done,
Yves.

unreal! Crazy to think that Fuji-san is so close to the city (even though it isn't really that close).
What a brilliant combination of shots.
Thankyou so much

Hello Hisashi
Magnificent cityscape.
One might expect two things from Japan and you sure deliver both in this photo! The Tokyo skyline and the unmistakable siluette of Fuji-san.
The auto bracketing seems to have done the trick for you here, I especially what to point out the great building details in the buildings farthest from your location.
Excellent work.

This is one of my all-time favorite photo's. I've seen it float around on the web on countless places. The combination of the two photos as you have done is splendid. I really love the sight of Fuji-san from Tokyo. This picture is an inspiration!
