Visiting Heian temple on December 24th you don't have to worry about the crowd. But the light is very difficult and it's a bit colder than in summer time ;o)
Between the middle garden and the east garden a river flows into a pound. It might be the pound named Seiho-ike. In the background appears the famous bridge of Heain Shrine Garden. |

Bonjour Jean-Loup,
les jardins japonais, superbes, soignés à l'extrème, où rien n'est pas géré, où rien ne traine.
Une photo où j'aime la douceur des lumières et celle des couleurs, où j'apprécie ces arbres qui se croisent et la touche discrète à l'architecture traditionelle à l'arrière plan.
