Photographer’s Note

This is the Kiyomizu-dera Temple above Kyoto. A destination of thousands tourists as well as local people due to its special flavor - many people go there to pray, to bring blessings and spread it upon their family, many people like the beautiful view over the City of Kyoto from here. I found this place to be one of the most attractive in Kyoto.

Wonderful golden tones in the sky and nice partial silhouettes where there is just enough light for us to pick out detail. An atmospheric shot.

both the photo and the note has been very informative. This temple has a great scenery and probably they have built it on a high spot , as parallel to higher spirutial beliefs. my only sad thought for this photo is as it was probably a foggy day.. the weather - sky did not offer you a clean day for photography
