Photographer's Note
Harajuku on Sundays is famous for the gathering of young Japanese who dress like Manga (comic books) characters. This is also known as “Cosplay”.
Cosplay, a portmanteau of the English words "costume" and "play", is a Japanese subculture centered on dressing as characters from manga, anime, tokusatsu, and video games, and, less commonly, Japanese live action television shows, fantasy movies, or Japanese pop music bands. However, in some circles, "cosplay" has been expanded to mean simply wearing a costume.
This place is right outside the main entrance to Meiji Jingu Shrine. This is a highlight of a visit to Tokyo.

Hi Jorge,
Although the pose is great and they wear very beautiful clothing and their make-up is a kind of Gohtic style i think that you sould used a tighter crop and focus more on their faces.
Now the surroundindg bushes, wall and house in the back is a bit disturbing this pose.
Using 6.3 is also not the best choce, you can go here a low as possbile to make them stand out against the background.
i made a ws version to show you what i mean, hope you can live with that ;-)
Regards, Henk
p.s
Go out on the streets an make some nice shots...forget TE for a while and focus on making pictures. Now you have only one left...i am sure you can make some good shots in the area you live.

Hi Jorge
nice capture. The gils look serious or it is a part of their costumed performance. I like their outfit.

Hello Jorge,
A picture of three year old but exactly a image of yesterday, with the two girls as great ladies.
I find that the ladies have a very good taste, the blue and white are a wonderful combination.
Very well done. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
John.

Hola Jorge,
Estupendo retrato de estas chicas con unas caras muy serias a pesar de suponer que lo estaban pasando bien con sus disfraces.
Excelentes colores y detalles.
Cordialmente

Hello Jorge -
A well executed image. There is not much I can say about the image other than these girls are weird and this whole Cosplay thing I just don't understand. Well done.
Thank you for sharing.

Really "too much", incredible this way of entertainment, I saw some other photos with this subject on TE and cannot believe my eyes... Very interesting, TFS,

Still I like that you included their dress, a remarkable couple, hardly to miss by the catchy colors like dolls almost in human :). Really funny to see Jorge.
Take care
