Photographer’s Note
Ginkaku-ji (Temple of the Silver Pavilion) is the more common name for Jisho-ji. Right after entering the grounds of Ginkaku-ji (map) you will find yourself walking a path leading to the sand garden. Through the gateway of the garden wall you can catch just a glimpse of the Ginshaden sand garden. Directly to your left is a large building called the Kuri (Priest's Quarters). The path surprised me and I was willing to share it with you. The sky is as it is in december usualy. It was a difficult shot and I used the tree to hide the most of the sun but I find that the building lack of light. I've used different f value trying to find the right one but I didn't find any better than this one.
