Three girls in discussion Photo

Photographer’s Note

Taken in Yokohama China town.

Girls discuss alot. They discuss on tiny matters over a cup of juice. I took a photo of such girls in discussion, but again, I missed the cup of juice in the photo. agggg

I didn't shoot twice, I just took the photo and moved away. So I guess they didn't notice my camera.
I know there is nothing dramatic going on in the photo, soo I was going to dump it but thought again, I liked it, so I decided to post it in TE anyways. Okay let me stop commenting on my own photo.

Nice candid and close-up shot, Lauryn, and please don't dump it - it is very simple but quite charming. Good distribution of the three girls in the frame, and having a bit more of the cup in the frame might be nice but it's not essential in my opinion. Take care.

good idea not dumping it. as you said its not dramatic but often simplicity as shown here is nice and pleasant to look at...composition wasn't particularly strong but I like the way the subjects are spread evenly across the frame; the nice light and dark background also help the scene. so still a fine work.

Nice threesome you captured here, Luryn, there is a nice intimacy to the shot. You could easily have gone BW here if you had wanted. It wouldwork fine to.

Hi Lauryn,
Yes this is a nice intimate photo showing a discussion. It's ok if you can't really see the juice, you can just tell they're holding something while they talk. Where it lacks strength it makes up in softness & intimacy.
