Photographer’s Note
I stood at the side of the street, waited for somebody to walk up towards me, then this guy suddenly showed up from my behind.
My back was another restaurant and he emerged out of the backdoor of it, and he said exactly "Ooopsy!" as he looked at me. and I also was like "Ooopsy!" too.
I wish the focus was on his face.

I like this shot for the most part. I can't help but wishing, the same as you, that he was in focus though. I think this is a pretty good bit of being in the right spot though and using a wide angle effectively.

Hi Lauryn
..yea its a pity about the focus but everything else seems pretty perfect to me! amazing depth and superb framing, I especially like that steamy silver pot anchoring the side. very well composed pic taken @ exactly the right moment :)

Nice unexpected catch of the cook. I like his facial expression of what the hell is going on. Great colors of course, and for some reason I love that light bulb up top. Besides his face, my favorite part of the photo is the background with that steamer..
Good stuff Lauryn.

Your photos too, Lauryn, make us travel... this shot reminds me of very good moments, the more so that I found the food absolutely delicious there ! The chef has a funny expression, TFS !
Best regards,
Cath.
