Photographer’s Note

I have recently been to Tokyo a place i have wanted to visit since i was a child hooked on video games. Tokyo lived up to all my hopes and then some. This was partly due to meeting up with two other TE members; Francis and Lauryn
They gave me excellent advice on how to spend my short time there. Tokyo is a very unique place ultra modern yet a the same time very traditional. Its a place i hope to revisit as there is so much to photograph there.
Technically this shot is not great out of focus and lots of blown out highlights. That said i think it speaks volumes about one side of Tokyo.

A tremendous shot Peter, which I was priviledged to preview on your pbase gallery - it may not be a summit of technical perfection, but it rocks and it moves one somehow. remarkable "inner truth" to this one...

Ouh ouh ouh, that's so beautiful shot! it is not perfect? It is not taken in a photo studio, so who cares? It has the mood, shows how elegant she is, how you looked at her...it speaks so much! That should be the point here. Very cool shot.

Nice framing of this vertical comp. Great light. The splash of red really brings this woman to life. She seems full of determination. Something out of a samuri movie. Nice work.
