[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yoshiwara damaged by an extensive fire in 1913, then nearly wiped out by an earthquake in 1923. It remained in business involved in "Mizu Shobai" until 1958. But in 1964, time to time. you can notice some of this rickshaw (jinrikisha ) carrying Elegant and Mysterious Art Lady...

Today The area near Minowa station on the Hibiya Line, is now known as Senzoku Yon-cho-me

Elegant image, the black is so rich and pattern of wheels and spokes is sophisticated. If i were from Tokyo....but i am from another world.

Tokyo in 1964...
For me, it seems another city than today's Tokyo. I just can imagine how my country was in that time. It's an interesting, historical shot. Thank you for sharing ,Christian.
