[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Ningyo Kanshasai (Festival to Thank Dolls) takes place every year at the Meiji Jingu shrine. All kinds of dolls (Western and Japanese) are collected from children's families after they are no longer needed, displayed for a while and then destroyed. When I heard this I thought it was somewhat wasteful since they could have been donated to poor families around the world.

Cette photo me frappe. Votre note est judicieuse car à Québec, certains organismes recueillent ces poupées, les arrangent et les redistribuent. Parfois, quand des familles passent au feu, les pompiers donnent aux enfants ces jouets reconstitués pour les consoler. Une lumière trop vive a surexposé une partie de l'image. Je ne connais pas assez PS pour voir si on peut corriger. Good picture!
