Hi! How's it going?!
So, it's Friday night, and I've just spent two hours walking home along the river, taking photos as I went...and they were all terrible!
So here's a nice one of the lake/ moat type arrangement which surrounds Kinkakuji (the Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto.
As you can see, it was a wet day, so a little cloudy, but a nice day nonetheless.
if you are interested in the history of the temple, look it up on Wiki.
In fact, look everything up on Wiki.
Because wiki knows all.
Tired now. Must sleep..

Hi Adam A great moody shot, which I think may be improved by cropping off the sky above the top of the roof. The place looks really nice.

Hi Adam, this is a wonderful place and the vertical view of the picture is great. The mist as the BG is great too. Well done. Sothy

Hello Adam, really great shot. I like the moodiness you have captured, the way the background fades into the mist. The clarity and depth are good (alas no camera settings to view though). Nice work!

So tender and romantic mood. And i like graphic arts made by lines of branches and trees and other details on that photo. And i like three levels of brightness/contrast. I would like to have same scene picture but without that roof on the left but on other hand it gives the feeling of belonings to Japan culture.
Sorry for my not excellent English

quite misty view...the place gives an impression of being perfectly looked after...the small islands with threes growing on them look wicked...i could also see this image with part of the sky being cropped... cheers, arturo

I like the POV with the foggy atmosphere mood which leads the eyes to the bonsai like trees in the pond.

Look like an ancient scroll ink painting...
