Goto's Nakahama Beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

This lovely beach is found on Nagasaki's Goto islands. Just over an hour from the city by ferry. The 2 large beaches are seperated by a small mountain. In summer it's a very popular spot, but this picture was taken in December. There are dolphin pods in the water all year round, and you can see a picture of them from my TrekNature profile: Dolphin

The waters around Goto are a magnificent emerald green like no where else.

This is a photomerge between two photos, the weather was poor, so I had to adjust the contrast etc a little.
