Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken at the tea house at Nagakute.
These kind of umbrellas are found in every Tea house in Japan, people like to sit underneath them and drink their green mix of tea, so it isnt green tea, btu special greenish colour drink with Mochi which is quite goooey but very nice and there is a special way to drink the tea, I might post a photo showing you, well only of the food and drink.
I just fell in love with the details inside the umbrella and its magnificent colours and how it is made, which I dont have a clue.
I hope you like it.
Nothing has been changed at all.
Thanks

I like this set of patterns and colours. Nice cropping; no extra distractions. The amount of work to string these Asian umbrellas is amazing. Very well lit to show both the structure and the textures.

Wow! This is great. I'd just crop 1/2 the handle on the bottom away, as the bright highlights are a tad distracting.
Composition, colour saturation, & lighting are among the best I've seen all week, & right up there in the top 5, imho !

Wonderful patterns, colours and textures. It looks like you've captured them all very realistically. I like your crop, but I think I would have cropped out the black pole at the bottom as it looks a little out of place to me. And perhaps a slightly smaller aperture would have kept the back of the umbrella in sharp focus.

This is a nice almost abstract shot Daniel, the bold colours and off centre crop work very well and I may have been tempted to crop harder to make it less obviously an umbrella
Well seen and captured

Beautiful colours , striking details of the bamboo and string lattice; i can even see the texture of the oiled paper.

Excellent cropping, and bold colors in this shot, Dan. A fascinating geometrical piece you made out of this umbrella, with a fine off-centered positioning of the central part of it. Very nice; one of your best I think, actually.
