Photographer’s Note
This little girl just threw her bamboo into the river during Tanabata. The drop to the water is probably about 10 meters so every parent had a death grip on their children's clothes. She is wearing a yukata but it is not a traditional one (worn like a robe). It has a separate skirt and top to make it easier to get little ones into it.

Very cute shot!
I'm no expert but I think the composition is pretty good ... a little noisy, like this was a crop of a much bigger shot, but the story is clearly told. Thanks for sharing.
