Photographer’s Note

As I have reach the 5 MB, you can see the large panorama on my web site.

It is 6 o'clock in the morning in the land of the Rising Sun. The bay of Tokyo is quiet, all the fishermen have already unloaded the results of the night fishing.
Picture taken from the Tsukiji fish market. This is an assembly of 6 pictures covering about 180°. You can see at both end the dock.

Superbe montage très précis.
J'aime bien les reflets sur l'eau et cette lueur à l'arrière plan.

It's a good idea and you were there at the right time to catch that beautiful light. But there are some technical problems that are quite evident. Some of the buildings seem to lean toward each other quite alarmingly and some of the horizons aren't quite straight. I'm sure these problems can be fixed quite easily, and it will look great when they are.

un panorama impressionnant de la baie de Tokyo. Je me rappelle être à cette place quelques années en arrière en hiver: assez déconcertant pour un dzodzet comme moi ;-)) Je me rappelle bien car il neigeait et cela m'avait vraiment étonné. Par contre, je n'avais pas eu le courage de me lever si tôt...

Sur www.panoguide.com, ils conseillent de prendre les photos en mode portrait à la place de paysage: cela augmente la zone de contact et diminue les risques de rotation que l'on peut avoir en assemblant plusieurs images qui ont souffert d'une déformation grand-angle. Peut-être que cela aurait amoindri cet effet "tremblement de terre", avec les buildings qui semblent danser sur la baie ;-))
