Here's another view of the Tokyo International Forum. This is actually the roof of the main hall which you can see here.

Can you imagine hanging upside down from the mast of a huge ship? Maybe it would look something like this. (Or maybe I've just had too much sake tonight!)

Great achitecture and view from just the right angle. Very majestic building. So airy and bright.

I can follow your likening of the mast and the boat, but it is more like you are under the boat and someone shoved the mast right through the bottom of it.

Amazing shot. I really like the repetition of patterns and the mirror images either side of the central structure. You have done a great job of retaining detail throughout the image.

Fantastic shot! The curves and angles and perspective git this such a strong 3 dimensional feel. The top of the building looks like an old wooden shpi from the bottom to me so I see a ship look, also. This is a really impressive shot. Great job!

Another great shot of this fantastic building. Nice light and color, very crisp. I kinda like the other picture better though, I miss the people here to add proportion.

great shot. very sharp and the composition is also perfect. I have been to this place too, it looks great aesthetically, but one thing i felt was, it is a waste of resources. as per your pic, it is just great.
