Photographer’s Note
I have posted another view of the kids before, but here comes again at another different view of them playing in a Shrine.
It was a hot hot day, so the kids played in a Shrine where it had a water tap for washing hands. They played and played scattering water around, splashing everywhere, ended up with getting soaked up with water themselves.
You see how kids play in a Shrine in WS.
They basically didn't know what the water was for. They claimed that they would get scolded by parents for being soaked all over them, but they couldn't stop playing with water tap.

Hi Lauryn, It is fun to see the children play in serious expressions on their faces. Good capture of their attention to the same point with a same expectation. A nice action shot.

Your are really progressing in your photography, Lauryn. Two things stand out: am increased sharpness and a willingness to really engage "at close quarters" with your subjects. The result: much more intimacy in your shots. I like this one too, for its natural feel, timing, and the excellent and interesting note...

Hi Lauryn, these are two nice candid-looking photos. Interesting to see the kids at play in such a relaxed way, not worrying much about the place and surroundings. This main photo is quite charming, I like how the boys' pose and gestures provide an additional framing for the girl in the center. The WS photo is nice, too, in that one they have become even more adventurous :o)

Hi Lauryn,
Love this pic. It's a great decisive capture. The composition is artistic and natural. What I like the most is the interraction between them and the way the eyes are spot on focus. Shapes generated (by their arms and wooden bits of shrine) are also beautiful, plus that exquisite lighting brightening up the girl in the middle is lovely. And what a good background as well - fulfilling TE's aim of teaching the world. Flawless pic.
Cheers,

This one is less interesting than the one you posted before. I don't receive the kind of impact I sometimes get with your pictures. Of course it's a nice moment and those kids are pretty funny. I actually love the kid's eyes on the left.
As Furachan already told the natural feel brought out of your picture is quite interesting but I am not so enthousiast.

Hi Lauren,
With your excellent light management; you've captured well the facial expressions that show the intensity of children's play. I like the details of the shrine in the WS; however, in your PP has amazing framing with the boy's arms framing the girl's face. The boys pretend to be ignoring her, but they are very aware of her interest. I also really liked, 'Coming home,' but you already had a lot of comments on that.
Regards, Pat
