Photographer’s Note
Finally started a holiday.
For the first day of the holiday, I had to go to a studio to record some chorus melody for a singer.
I know I need to prepare for going back to Hiroshima for the holiday, and I haven't done anything for it yet. And I am sitting in front of the comp here, writing this note...I think I know what I am doing..
The recording was fun. I sneaked a shot of this guy when he focused on operating the machines. I thought nobody would notice the shutter sound, but the mic was still on, and soon as I pressed on the botton, everybody knew that I took a photo of him..
I am going to Hiroshima from tomorrow, and I hope I will bring some photos from there.

Hi Lauren...
A lovely little insight into your day...really sweet.
What do you do for a living? sounds interesting...I look forward to your photos from Hiroshima...
The photo itself is a a mish-mash of things combined quite quickly so I wont take anything away from it...

Hey Lauryn,
I like the style in this one, the kind of shot youd expect to see on the inside of a cd cover.

How are you, Lauryn, nice to see a new photo coming from you. In addition to being impressed by your secondary career as a singer (lol), I quite like this candid photo from the studio in which we can see the sound operator at work amidst all the maze of devices and cables. The microphone sticking towards your lens is a fun add, as if it were to invite the viewer of the photo to sing.
Have a nice trip to Hiroshima, and I look forward to seeing your photographic account from there. I am also traveling until Sunday (to Romania); some time next week I'll probably upload one of my photos of the old woman we met in front of the Nittai-ji temple at Osu.

Hi Lauryn, I am not sure if I should trust the clock to your camera better or to the clock on the wall better. I may call it 14:13 according to your camera :D.
This is a crowded in the sound mixing room. It looks that there is a standup room behind the guy. They may move some more equipment to fill up the space. Good capture of the guy concentrated to his work. An impressive shot to get this clear picture out from the crowded room.
Have a nice trip to Hiroshima and I am looking forward to your photos from there.

Hi Lauryn,
Good compo & idea with that big microphone that provides a nice first person view of the place. detailed background providing documentary of a studio which maybe bit untidy but real. a bit surprised that you're singer :)
happy singing & shooting,
CheukHin
