Photographer's Note

This is one of the most unusual and anigmatic things I've never seenin my life. We are inside a new area of historical and sacred cemetery of Koyasan (see: The old cemetery. ), and this funereal monument was dedicated by a big insecticide company to its small victimes, exterminated in bilions during the years. "To the termites, may they rest in peace" says the japanese inscription. Sense of guilt, a joke, or simply a non-sense? I don't know, if you have a good answer let me know, please.

In this area of cemetery you can find a lot of strange tombs; to the cofee, to the rocket and so on. I'll post some of them as workshop. See: Missile tomb. and Coffee tomb.
