Photographer’s Note
What name of country would you have in your mind when you heard or see so many bicycles ? Most people would answer 'China'. I do as well, but check out this. This is an usual image of Japan, at least for me, near the station.
Many people ride the bicycles from home to the station, then take the train or the subway. Almost of the stations is surrounded by them.

There are 8 million bicycles in Beijing... or something like that number. :P
Bicycles seem very popular in Japan too, though. I think especially in the cities... I read that people dont own cars. Instead they ride a bike to the train station or subway, and get that to work. When they come back, they find their bike and go home again.
There was a huge stack of bikes outside Ryogoku train station.
Cool image. It is very silver, with just little bits of green and blue and brown dotted around. I like that use of colour.
Good composition and well framed, too.
Thank you for sharing. ^_^

Nice and sharp picture. Funny to see those baskets in front of the steering wheel. Here in Holland we also have a lot of bicycles but none of them have these baskets. If you look at the back row of bicycles than it looks like they are all them same model. Good shot!
