Photographer抯 Note
It's spring time so it wouldn't be so hard to work in night time but still it must be hard work because night time is basically for sleeping.
I have seen this contructing site stayed up late, lightening till very late of night during winter. It must have been very tough for the workers there, although it can't be below -5 degree at night in winter here in Nagoya, it is still freezing cold of course.
I know I was at too far from the subject, but there was no way to go in the site. This was taken on my way back to Nagoya station, with Norbert.

I kind of like this one, Lauryn, somehow everything falls into place. It has a very "real" feel to it.
Good stuff,

Hiya Lauryn. Hey, this came out pretty nice, the guy using the water jet in front of the truck illuminated by the huge lamp makes for a good scene (I think I was focusing on the other guy with the "Darth Vader" stick and I don't think any of the photos turned out usable). Very nice to see another one from our joint afternoon. I was at Himeji Castle today and tomorrow I'll be off for Okayama and Kurashiki.

这张真的好棒啊!
很好的夜景,
色彩也很好,
好像你的相机突然好起来了,哈……
或者是因为norbert,技术水平突增,
呵,开玩笑了,你本来就具备这种才能。
祝贺你有了新的进步。

Hmm
The bright light creates a great effect for the water spray, etc, but including it in the shot itself distracts (looks like a bad shaped egg!). ガァ

Hi Lauryn,
Yes, that light is a distracting element but it has set off the water spray beautifully. Another angle, one that makes use of the light but doesn't give it such an important position might have helped but I understand that it being a restricted site you had to take it from that position.
If you were trying to show how tired and hard these workers worked during the night, maybe you could have also caught their expressions as they walked past you on a break?

Lauryn,
I love the wet concrete and the rather eerie greenes of everything. I just wished you had managed to find an angle that doesnt include that big light. Its blown out and really takes away from the rest of the picture. A shame as this has alot of potential.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Lauryn, You have well made use of the headlight of the truck to highlight of the work. Good use of the pale white light. I agree with Peter above about including the light source. I would crop out the light and cut out a light from the right. Good seen and nice contrast to this night shot.
