I was walking in Tokyo heading towards the Tokyo Tower when this group came towards me. I took the shot while holding the camera at waist high.

10 out of 10 for ingenuity. Taking it at waist height has brought the point of view right down to the girls' level, which is excellent. Much better than a shot from above them, I think.
You did well to get a good angle when taking it from your waist. The photo is very straight and level, not looking up or down at an angle which you might expect. Well done!
As for what is on the image, I love the girls' individual expressions. The girl laughing makes me smile. I notice too that the girl at the back on the right has seen you. :P
